I love my husband

I made the mistake of staying up too late last night and was definitely regretting it by morning. And to top it off Isaac woke up twice in the night, once to tell me he wanted a snack and a second to to let me know he spilled water in his bed.

So, as it turns out mommy was so so soooo tired today and if you must know mommy does NOT do tired. Not only was I tired but so was Isaac, causing a bit of a grumpy edge to him which never helps my sanity or anyone else's for that matter. I struggled to keep my cool as he whined at me and tried my hardest to stick with our new program (a post for another day) and made it to lunch time, BARELY.

Enter my knight in shinning armor: John

John came home for lunch today (which I forgot he was going to do so I was pleasantly surprised) and not only did he take the crying fussy baby from my arms (also another subject for another day) but he asked me, "Are you tired babe?"
which I answered with a sad face," Yes, sooo tired."
He then told me to lay down and take a nap and he would take the baby and play with Isaac.

An hour and a half later I woke up to a stirring baby in the crib and a unusually quite house. I took Olive from her crib and went down stairs to investigate this strange occurrence and what I found was my son quietly watching Toy Story with all the phones in front of him and daddy's number written down next to them.

So, not only did my wonderful husband put my crying baby to sleep and sneak her in her crib while I was sleeping but also made sure to keep Isaac occupied, the phones far from me if they rang and daddy's number near if Isaac needed anything. Did I tell you how much I love this man! Well I do and he is pretty darn near perfect! Oh, and did I fail to mention that he has been doing the dishes for me lately? Well he has and I could not me more grateful. I love my man and no you cannot have him;)

P.S. So what did I do with my refreshed self? I took my lovely kids to the park and gave Olive her first swing ride! So cute!

Weekend at a glance

Well, ok, the first thing wasn't this weekend but most definitely blog worthy. I went to my sisters house last week to stop in and say hello and I was greeted with a completly tatted up Sadie. Isacc decided he wanted some faux needle action and Sadie was happy to tat him up. This was the finnal result,

Friday night was movie night but mommy fell asleep at 8pm so daddy and isaac stayed up watching some animated super hero movie and decided to be festive and dress up for the movie, I am sad I missed it, but they did take a photo for me,

This is just a picture of me and my kids. I love my little ones and I don't have that many pictures of us together. They don't seem as excited as me.

Our friends Kelli and Matt invited us to the beach this weekendand so we decided to go with the Kiddos.Daddy caught a crab and I think Olive enjoyed her first trip to the beach.

Isaac and Daddy monsters?

I was trying to print out some pictures yesterday to fill in some of the many empty picture frames I have (John's # one pet-peeve when it comes to my decorating) and the printers color cartridge ran out of ink so the pictures I printed I could not use. Isaac happened to find them and this is what he decided to do with them...

One for the family album most definitely, "mommy's favorite one eyed monsters"!

Wow, it has been too long.

Gee wiz, I was just looking through my old posts and I realized I have had this blog for two years and I have only posted 36 times and three of those posts are about me finally committing to my blog. Gee, I must look full of it!

Well my sister-in-law Misty just started a new blog and she has inspired me to get back on the wagon. I have plenty to blog about, I mean Isaac is FIVE and Olive is as cute as can be. Also, if my friend Katy can keep up two blogs while having a job as a photographer and with nine month old TWINS, I have to be able to do it. Also I love looking back some times and it really is like a journal of our lives and there are so many things I would forget about if I didn't keep this blog. So I must keep it up for memory sake.

Ok, so here it comes, my fourth I am ready to commit to my blog, I am READY to COMMIT to my BLOG.
