Crazy little tomato

Last summer we had a little cherry tomato plant in a pot and this year it just so happens that we have a little wild tomato plant growing out of the ground right next to the spot we had our pot. It is so cool. We had so many tomatoes last year that we just could not eat them all so we would always have some falling off the plant. It looks like one has accomplished it's mission in existence; to reproduce! Very exciting. That is one thing I love and hate about plants; they are just trying to survive like the rest of us. Well this little guy has thus far succeeded. I plan on digging him up and pot him because he really doesn't get enough light where he is. Hopefully before long I will have some tomatoes to share with you all and all thanks to mother nature doing its job!

Another trip to the Fair!

I have been on a semi-vacation from my blog, or maybe really I have just been lazy.

I went to the fair again yesterday which made it my third trip and it was still fun. The second time I went I went with Grandma, Aunt Charlotte, my mom, my sis, and me. And oh my gosh whom ever idea it was was crazy! I think if you saw us all together you would either laugh or just think ," Oh my gosh, those people are terrible!" We practically argued the whole time, which to any onlooker appears as fighting, and then laughed at how crazy we probably seemed to people and then did it all over again. By the end of the day we mellowed out pretty well though.

We were at the fair for five hours! My grandma is 89! I can't believe she lasted that long. I was so worried she wasn't going to make it back to the front gate when it was time to go considering she REFUSED to let us rent her a wheel chair. She did sit a lot and but she also walked a whole lot too. I forgot my camera that time but this time I remembered it. Here are some cute pictures.

My mom just happened to go to the fair that day too and we ran into her and my aunt Charlotte. My aunt Charlotte works at the fair and she got us all in that day for free. Sweet! I went three times and didn't have to pay once! Thanks aunt Charlotte we love you!

So, I love the fair. I like that once you go and look through all the exhibits and see all the cool stuff that people have done it makes you want to go home and make something too. The only thing I missed this year was the student showcase and my sister said the wood working there was really cool. Next year! But I did see everything else, woodworking and gems, home hobbies, photography, garden, art, and of course some animals.

And one more thing,

HAPPY ONE YEAR ANNIVERSARY Carla and Leo! And a little blast from the past
